IT Architect & Manager · AI Platforms

I support AI development and the platforms it runs on. I also write old-school games.

I've been coding since 1982: a TRS-80 Color Computer, Pascal in high school, then years of 8086 assembly. This site collects what I'm reading, building and playing.

I'm an IT Architect and Manager. My work today is supporting AI development and the platforms teams use to build and run it.

My first computer was a TRS-80 Color Computer. I learned Pascal in high school, wrote a lot of 8086 assembly after that, and never stopped writing small programs for fun. Text adventures, card games and Atari-style arcade games are still how I learn a new language or tool.

Outside of work I build Mac apps under the PounceApps name and read a lot. The reading list is a good place to start.
